The PGDM (Executive) program is an 18 months weekend program for working professionals. The program not only imparts functional and operational expertise among students but also prepares them for leadership roles. The program focuses on decision-making skills, analytical thinking, enterprise wide view and global exposure. Case based pedagogy, practitioner sessions, self-exploration, and mentoring by CXOs help students to acquire new age career skills such as strategic thinking & innovation, managing tools & technology, product design, interpersonal skills, and leadership.
Keeping in minds the needs of working professionals the program is delivered on weekends. However, students can access the learning resource centre, IT Lab, Analytics lab and other academic resources for their academic and professional growth.
The state of the art Campus is situated in a 30 acres campus at a 20 minute drive away from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. The strategic location facilitates corporate connect initiatives of the institute.
A PGDM (Executive) Student has the opportunity to become member of the all India IMT alumni Association. The alumni association conducts regular alumni meets facilitated by active alumni chapters in all the metros and major cities of India.
Industry experts who are working as senior executives /functional heads in various reputed corporates deliver more than 30% of the courses. The participants are exposed to the contemporary corporate practices.
The student gets an opportunity to shadow a CXO and imbibe leadership skills. The CXO assigns a real life business problem and guides the student in arriving at an optimal business solution.
A student at IMT Hyderabad has the option to pursue international exchange at any one of the partnering university or institution. Students also have the option to pursue a short-term exchange program at IMT Dubai campus.
