The Corporate Relations Office (CRO) has an association with 100+ organizations for various Corporate Connect Activities, like Practitioner Sessions, Guest Lectures, Leadership Series, Mentor Mentee Program etc., in addition to Campus Placements.
At IMT Hyderabad, the CRO provides end to end career services for the students. The CRO identifies placements training need for the students and provides customized training for each of the student, both in domain knowledge and in soft skills area. In addition to the placements training program, the CRO also provides in depth workshops on Resume building and LinkedIn profile building for the PGDM (Executive) students. Such workshops immensely contribute to improve the employability quotient of the participants and provides them with the required skills to impress recruiters when they meet them.
The CRO organizes Leadership series lectures for the PGDM (Executive) students. The speaker is someone from the Leadership Team with rich corporate experience from the industry. The students learn about the prospect future challenges and are motivated to think out-of-the box. Such lectures are a great way of augmenting the students with the industry and technical knowhow. Today, higher education embraces the idea of interdisciplinary thinking and performance, and the leadership series is a way to model this in addition to the regular routine lectures.
Bringing innovation & creativity among the students of IMT Hyderabad has been always a priority. In the Guest Lecture sessions, eminent speakers from across the industry share insightful information with the students. Sometimes, the topics are suggested by the students of PGDM (Executive), so that the learning will be more focused. There are a lot of instances that come up in the corporate which require quick thinking and decision making. Therefore, sessions like Guest Lectures help the students transit from mid-level career professionals to Thoughtful Leaders.
The Industry Mentor Mentee Program is IMT Hyderabad’s unique program, where each student is mentored by an Industry Mentor. The Program is a credit based program and is jointly evaluated by the Industry Mentor and the Faculty Mentor. Typically, the duration of this program is about 2-3 months. The CRO provides each PGDM (Executive) student with an industry mentor who is a very senior industry leader. The mentors are chosen based on students’ interest and the mentorship is in alignment with the students’ career aspirations.
A Student Committee of Placements (SCOP) is formed which comprises of chosen students who act as an interface between the CRO and the students. The SCOP gives insights to the CRO on the aspirations of the batch which better helps the CRO in providing assistance to the students. Overall, IMT Hyderabad focuses on an industry centric approach by preparing its PGDM (Executive) students to become leaders. The efforts of the CRO are to groom the students for the same and assist them in getting placement opportunities after their course. IMT Hyderabad will conduct the selection process for the PGDM (Executive) shortlisted candidates from the overall applicants applied through the online application portal.
A call letter will be emailed for the applicants who are shortlisted for the selection process
Documents (10th, 12th, graduation, work experience etc.) will be verified on the day of interview
