I don’t know about you, but I miss the days when going to classes meant more than just an online presence, when attending office meant more than just attending zoom calls, the days when shopping meant more than just buying essentials and meeting with friends wasn’t a luxury.
I don’t know about you, but I miss the warmth of the shared cup of coffee and the laughter over the last slice of pizza. I don't know about you, but this new normal is not my cup of tea; how can I even pretend it to be? Sometimes I find myself going back to the moments from the past, the sweet nothings of the setting sun, the shared laughter, the silent breeze, the rushing waves, the familiar faces. Sometimes I find more peace in what is gone. The merry-go-lucky days with nothing to fear, no masks to hide our faces, just the comfort of gazing at the endless horizons. Some days I live with the polaroid, figuring out how soon things change. Only if we could get hold of our past.
Happy, exciting, mesmerizing, or unpredictable, how would you define life? Lost in the revelries, we forget the little things, in the race of making it larger than life. But we leave behind more questions than answers! Hence, leave the clauses behind, tell your loved ones, how much they mean to you, while you have the time, do that slow dance under the shimmering stars with the ones that matter for life is fragile and unpredictable, and it waits for none!
