• Insightix – The Analytics Club of IMT Hyderabad aims to enrich the knowledge of the students in growing field of Analytics. Realizing the prospective cross-functional demand of Analytics and Big Data in fields like Finance, Marketing, Social Media, Human Resource Management and many other domains, IMT Hyderabad has decided to make analytics as its niche.
  • To cater the need, IMT has improvised the courses offered in data science and analytics. It also improvised the Management Development Program(MDP) of IMT Hyderabad establishing the Analytics Centre of Excellence(ACE) in June 2015. Along with these elements, exclusively for the students, ‘Insightix – The Analytics Club’ was launched under the guidance of Dr. Sridhar Vaithianathan on 27th Jan, 2016.
  • As the clubs of the institute are student driven activities, few students from the batch 2014-16 have contributed as the founding members in building the club and making its first core team from batch 2015-17.
  • Insightix would be a common platform for the analytics enthusiasts to meet, discuss, compete and participate in multiple events. For every academic year, Insightix would be coming up with events and competitions like
    • Data Contests / Hackathons
    • Analytics Round Up – Quiz
    • Let’s Talk Analytics – Student Discussion
    • Periodic Panel Discussion
  • In due course of time, the club would take an initiative in organizing these data competitions in a national scale.
  • In all these events, the awareness about contemporary analytical tools and techniques would be focused to make the members/audience connect with application of the same to their respective career path. Insightix is also planning to work with corporates and industry experts to bring in practical knowledge of industry requirements in terms of skill set and nuances of befriending data. Along with the classroom learning, this would be of a great value addition to the future analyticians, which in turn would add another feather to IMT Hyderabad’s Hat.
