IMT Hyderabad, 30th June 2025: Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad concluded its Management Orientation Program, Abhyuday 2025, on an inspiring note with a Valedictory Panel Discussion themed: “From Classroom to Boardrooms: Thriving in a Technology Driven Global Economy.” The panel featured distinguished industry leaders, including, Mr Saravana Kumar (SK), Vice President & India HR Business Partner, Salesforce, Ms Asma Joshi Sarma, HR Campus Head, PepsiCo GCC, Hyderabad, Mr Sudhendra Kulkarni, Vice President & Head - L&D and Campus Recruitment, Cloud4C Services, and Mr Hemant Kumar Ravi, Programme Lead, EY Bangalore, and alumnus of IMT Ghaziabad.
Moderated by Prof Dr Rona Elizabeth Kurian the discussion focussed on the evolving demands of a digital first world, the session delved into the critical skills and mindsets needed for success, from adaptability and creativity to AI-readiness and entrepreneurial thinking. The panel emphasized the importance of embracing change and continuous learning.
Mr Saravana Kumar highlighted the importance of maintaining a beginner’s mindset in the corporate world. Ms Asma Joshi spoke about the non-linear journey of learning and unlearning in today’s digital-first economy, urging students to accept and embrace change.
Mr Sudhendra S Kulkarni emphasised the need for versatility and the adoption of AI to make it to the boardroom. Mr Hemant Kumar Ravi encouraged students to “zoom in” on themselves and “zoom out” to understand the evolving industry landscape.
During a candid discussion on becoming industry-ready, Ms Asma Joshi stressed the value of an entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and soft skills. Mr Kumar added that while organisations will change, one’s personal legacy and self-worth are defined by consistent performance and ownership.
The panel discussion was followed by a Q&A session, where Mr Kumar shared a four-point interview readiness framework: apply academics practically, build strong communication, understand industry context, and find ways to stand out.
The program concluded with a felicitation of the panellists by Prof (Dr) Vinay Kalakbandi, Prof (Dr) Sarath Babu Ajeetha Doss, and Mr Prakash Pathak bringing Abhyuday 2025 to a close on a note of inspiration, insight, and gratitude.
