The PGDM (Executive) programme at Institute of Management Technology Hyderabad (IMT-H) has been designed for working executives to enhance their career. This programme has been tailor made for working professionals desirous of acquiring knowledge and skills for their growth and development. TERM PROJECTS- The term projects would essentially help the participants to apply the concepts learned in a given term to a real-life setting.

FIELD BASED DISSERATATION- The students are required to work on the field-based dissertation in a real-life work setting in an organization. The corporate sponsored candidates will be able to create value for their employer through measurable business outcomes.

PEDAGOGY-The courses are delivered using a mix of various pedagogical methods such as case discussions, lectures, simulation, business games, seminars and practitioner's sessions.

CASE DISCUSSIONS- Lectures and class discussion would be supplemented by case discussions. This ensures that the decision-making adeptness of participants is honed in a pseudo business environment.

EXPERIENTIAL APPROACHES- The course will substantially rely on experiential approaches such as role-plays, exercises, games and simulations so that the students are able to assimilate their own learning points from these experiences.

DELIVERY MODEL- The PGDM Executive Program is of 18 months, comprising of nine terms. Each term is of eight weeks duration. The program structure has been devised considering the contemporary requirements of working professionals. The courses are delivered every Saturday and every alternate Sunday. The location of program delivery will be the IMT Hyderabad Campus. Corporate sponsored candidates will have the flexibility of attending some of the sessions at the company premises during weekend/weekdays as per the requirements by the company.

ELECTIVES- The program offers a large number of elective courses from all the functional areas. The participants are required to choose eight electives (4 each in Term 7 and 8 respectively) from the following list of electives. (electives in boxes)
