January 18-19, 2019: The Marketing Department of IMT Hyderabad, in support with AMDISA conducted the third edition of International Marketing Conference (MCEM – 2019) on January 18-19, 2019. The opening ceremony began with lighting the symbolic lamp. The event began on a propitious note of Dr. Satish Ailawadi, Director of IMT Hyderabad, followed by Chief Guest- Mr. Mukesh Rathi (CIO & CTO, DR. Reddy’s Laboratories), Guest of Honor- Mr. Hitesh Kakkar (COO, CPM India) and Key Note Speaker – Dr. Geoffrey Clements (Chairman, Commonwealth Infrastructure Partners, United Kingdom). The guests spoke about digital transformation, key learnings from the digital world, integration of online and offline digital marketing trends and the challenges in the digital world. Nearly 40 papers were presented across 6 tracks on the conference theme “Digital Practices and Trends in Emerging Economies: Social & Business Perspective”. The tracks are as follows:

The two day event was concluded with the Valedictory Session on January 19, 2019. Key Note Speaker – Dr. Geoffrey Clements made a detailed note on the presentations by the participants appreciating their efforts. Certificates to the participants who presented were distributed. Prof. Devi Prasad Ghosh – Conference Chairperson expressed his vote of thanks. The Management and the Organizing Committee were deeply committed in offering impeccable hospitality, which was praised unanimously. With its range of themes and unfettered sharing of ideas, thoughts, and perspectives, the event offered significant takeaways for students, academicians, and professionals.
