Faculty Profiles Dr. Surajit Ghosh Dastidar Dr. Surajit Ghosh Dastidar has around 20 years of experience in research, teaching and industry. He started his career as a software developer for DPS Technologies working in SGML Case Law Conversion Project for a Philippine client. As part of his teaching experience he has designed, developed and taught courses on Marketing Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, AI using Base SAS and SAS Enterprise Miner to MBA, Executive MBA and Doctoral Students. His research has been published in journals such as Journal of Statistical Software, Journal of Advances in Management Research, International Journal of Applied Strategic Management, Asian Journal of Economics and Business, AIMS International Journal of Management, Journal of Case Research, Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies among others. Dr. Preeti Sharma With 16 years’ experience in teaching, research and training Dr. Preeti Sharma has a background in computer applications. She completed Fellowship Program from National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai and has taught subjects like Artificial Intelligence, ERP, Business Research Methods, Text Analytics, Business Statistics and languages like Python, JAVA, C++ and C. Conducted workshops on Big Data and Hadoop and Text Analytics. Her research interest includes technology adoption, CRM, business analytics and applications of different multivariate data analysis methods like exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Her research is published in reputed national and international journals. She has been a reviewer for international journals like Business Process Management and Telematics and Informatics. Dr. Mahesh Ramalingam Dr. Mahesh Ramalingam is an Assistant Professor and Area Chairperson in IT & Analytics area at Institute on Management Technology, Hyderabad. He teaches Analytics using SAS, Big Data Analytics and Data Analysis for Decision Making. He began his career as Market Research Analyst in Sailotech Private Limited, where he worked on Big Data Analytics and Predictive Modelling using R and Python. His primary area of interest is service quality and customer behavioural intention outcomes and other works include development of metrics to evaluate marketing decisions (e.g. customer segmentation, purchases, returns).
