Dr. Steven Raj is Assistant Professor (Economics & Strategy) at IMT- Hyderabad. He hold Masters Degree in Economics from University of Hyderabad and Ph.D in Economics from Andhra University. Dr. Steven’s thesis focused on Indian agriculture whereby he studied the impact of climate change on crop yields in Andhra Pradesh.
Dr. Steven has rich experience with leading corporates and economic think-tanks and brings in the industry perspective to economic theories and models. Prior to joining IMT Hyderabad, he was associated with the Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS), Hyderabad as Sr. Research Associate in the Division for Sustainable Development. Dr. Steven specializes in macroeconomic and developmental research with special focus on environmental and agrarian issues. He has published research papers in various journals.
