The Communication Wing is an amalgamation of the different skills that are needed to enhance one's communication. From writing to public speaking, we ensure that there is a fun aspect to effective interaction, as well as to eliminate the fear that people hold when it comes to communicating thoughts and ideas.

Insightix - The Analytics club of IMT Hyderabad was formed on 27 th of January,2016 which aims that students are able to extract insights from data. The scope of analytics starts from capturing data and evolves around the art of using the trends from this data to make well informed decisions in industry as well as daily life.

How we fulfil the objective:

To fulfil our objectives of extracting insights from data, Insightix have planned fun and interactive events for students to understand the art of decision making in a more creative and accurate way using data available to them. By participating in various events, students can have a hands-on practice of latest tools used in Analytics and can use their quantitative and analytical skills to excel in corporate world.


We, at Insightix believe that we need to change with the time and so we keep changing our events based on trends every year. Few of our events include

  • The Big Game: Using analytics to make a sound team selection during IHL matches by analysing the performance of players using past trends.
  • Cinelytics: A fun filled event where participants use visual data analysis to guess the name of the movies, animated characters and songs.
  • Kismat Konnection: Data analytics battle to emerge as the Champion of the Olympics of data.
  • Cogentix: An inter college major event held during IMPELZ, the annual management fest of IMT-H to test the analytical skills of the participants.
  • Testament of the dead: An inter college minor event held during IMPELZ, the annual management fest of IMT-H to solve a murder mystery by using the logical and analytical skills.


  • Excel shortcuts: Making excel easy for people by introducing them to the excel short cuts in our social media.
  • Quick Bits & Bytes on Analytics: Quick facts on data in our social media platforms to keep students updated abut the latest trends.
  • Latest trends in Analytics: We bring to the table a brief explanation of what the latest trends in analytics are.
  • Website: We maintain our own website to upload the articles related to analytics.
  • YouTube channel: We come up with short videos for clarifying the basics in analytics to clarify the doubts of students.
  • Analytics in Daily Life: We analyse the usage of electricity and water on monthly basis and suggest students on the utility by showing them the outputs in visual forms using analytics.
