The world adapted to the online way of learning, so did IMT and its events. The world was accustomed to everything happening in the physical space rather than on the online medium but due to the pandemic it was the only way out. The events that used to take place in the magnificent amphitheatre and around the campus had to be replicated and adapted for the online medium. The critical issue that needed to be understood was to maintain the same level of fun and enthusiasm on this medium as well. Creativity and Online promotions were the two major components that made the online events a success,generating an idea that is not only interesting but also suits the platform and then planning the online promotions on the social media handles of various clubs and committees so that the word can spread out about the event, because now the preparations are not visible to the students that would have been if the events were COPING UP WITH PANDEMIC TO SUCCESSFULLY CARRYING OUT THE EVENTS organised in the beautiful campus of IMT Hyderabad. The year of 2020 was not only challenging for the nation as a whole which was battling with the pandemic on all sides but also for the students that were figuring the high dependence on internet and making the efficient use of it on the academic front as well as for the cultural activities. Clubs & Committees organised multiple events over the course of last 1 year and all of them turned out to be great success, they were organised collectively by both the batches ensuring the senior junior connect. Students not only had fun organising these events but also acquired various skills that included team spirit, time management, social media promotions and a lot more. The two main events of IMT Hyderabad, Impelz and Periodos were also conducted online this year with the support and collaboration of clubs and committees. Proper planning and execution are the backbone of events like these that were made sure by to dividing the whole team into smaller teams that managed each task which included design, logistics, technical and PR. The beauty of the online medium is that it has no boundaries and can be scaled by proper promotions and planning. The events witness a good footfall from various institutes across the country and make these events a great success. The core values and spirit of IMT were always present just the platforms and mediums were different this time. Optimising the situations and conditions are the core teachings of management education that were not only taught but tested.
